Summer is in full swing, what have you been doing to stay cool this summer?

Hi I’m Mike, I am a husband to my wonderful wife of 58 years Cecilia, father of five, a grandfather and a great grandfather. Born and raised in El Paso Texas, I attended El Paso High School class of ’61, graduated from UTEP class of ’66, and proudly served in Vietnam. As a captain in the US Army, I learned the importance of strong leadership and service which has enabled me to graciously contribute to my community year after year.

I wholly embrace community involvement having served on numerous boards throughout my lifetime including: Leadership El Paso, YMCA Metro Board, LULAC, Project Amistad, Sunbowl Advisory board, Founding Member of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, UTEP Alumni Association Board, Board of First Tee, State Farm Political Action Network, Y. I. S. D. School Board, El Paso Central Appraisal District and Mexican - American School Board to name a few.

In my 53 years of being associated with State Farm, I have learned that there are certain traits an agent should live and adhere by in servicing customers. I as an agent have been granted the vast opportunity to serve and aid policyholders in their preparation for the unexpected, a duty which I do not take lightly. As insurance agents and members of the community, we have a dual responsibility to the customer and State Farm to invariably maintain a greater level of transparency, making sure our customers needs are always being addressed while keeping our word to be there in a time of need. Our office is not like all the others as we strive to live each day in harmony, with humility and honesty, our customers become family, come in and experience it for yourself!
